Mother’s Day is a little over a week away and I tried to think of the items that I’ve either received as a gift or really would love to receive as a gift. I’ve included different price points and in my opinion, there’s something for everyone!
1. Mason Pearson Pocket Brush: I had to include both the Mason Pearson and the Yves Durif (below) because they’re two tools in my hair arsenal I don’t want to be without. The Mason Pearson is my favorite for stimulating the scalp, smoothing the hair (it’s my go-to for when I wear a sleek bun) and for adding shine. I have both the regular size and the pocket, but find I actually use the pocket one more. It’s also ideal for throwing into your bag.
2. Yves Durif Vented Brush: My favorite weapon for gently detangling my hair without any snags, wet or dry. I’ve even used it on hair that I didn’t condition (on days I’m using a post shower hair mask ) and it works perfectly. I’ve tried The Wet Brush and other wide-toothed combs, but none compare. I use on both myself and Sasha regularly and it goes way further than just being an after-the-shower brush.
3. Cuyana Leather Travel Case Set:I have and love this set so much. Instantly makes me feel like I’m that chic travel woman who has her life together.
4. Ring Concierge Bold Gold Cloud Multi Hoops: I recently got these and they’re stunning in person. Not too heavy and they add just the right amount of classic edge. PS: I also have a code Helena20 that’s valid until 5/7 for 20% off all fine jewelry. It will work on all fine jewelry (excludes bespoke, bridal and diamond studs)
5. Dorsey Bennington Riviere Necklace: I’m newer to Dorsey, but this necklace is another item that’s high on my wishlist. I recently saw it on a woman and I was convinced she was wearing real diamonds, until I found out it was this one! Granted, I don’t have the most experienced diamond eye, but I was definitely fooled.
6. Ring Concierge Mini Diamond Tennis Bracelet:This bracelet has been part of my arm stack since I got it, maybe two years ago? It’s beautiful on its own or stacked with something else. It comes in an eternity version and half diamonds and I have the eternity. The code Helena20 is valid on this one as well.
7. Brightland The Duo Olive Oil Set: I’ve become quite addicted to this olive oil after trying it during the pandemic. Since then, knowing how much I love it, Keith has gifted it to me several times. It’s not something I think about buying for myself, but it’s surely something I love receiving as a gift. Add it to a basket with a bottle of wine and some other goodies and it makes for such a beautiful, thoughtful gift.
8. Loewe Anagram Buckle Leather Belt: I don’t personally own this, but it’s definitely on my personal wishlist.
9. Parachute Shearling Wool Slippers: My favorite slippers! So warm, so cozy and such a treat for your feet early in the morning or after a long day.
10. Parachute Cloud Cotton Robe: I’ve had many robes over the years, but none compare to this one. I hate big, bulky robes and this one is the exact opposite of that. Somehow it manages to be both warm (enough), yet completely breathable. I’ve washed it a gazillion times over the last few years and it’s still in perfect condition. I take a size medium.
11. Naghedi St. Barths Medium Tote: I own several Naghedi totes and they’re simply the best. Light-weight, easy to clean and pretty indestructible. Mine have gone through airport travel, train travel, to the beach and everything in between. I love the medium for regular wear and the larger size for when I need to carry my life, laptop and everything in between included.
12. Hotel Lobby Candle City Collection Trio Set: I love a fancy candle, especially if I’m receiving one (or three) as a gift. If three are too many, there’s also the lovely option of one.
13. The Light Salon Boost LED Mask: I don’t want to repeat myself as I’ve gone on and on about my love for this mask. I have an entire post you can read here! My code BROOKLYNBLONDE25 is valid for 25% off. Your complexion will thank you!
