Happy Friday | Goodbye, August

And here we are, our last Friday in August. Where did the summer go? I know that technically, summer is for a few more weeks, but there’s always something about Labor Day that feels like it’s the start of fall. It’s a bittersweet feeling. While I adore fall, this year, it came way too quickly. Don’t get me wrong, I’m about to start embracing the new month, but not with a little moment of sadness. On another note, this week was filled with so many great posts and so many fun purchases:

Last week, I shared some beauty favorites and what I’m buying from the Sephora sale. In addition to that, I reordered my favorite lip sleeping mask (the best) and this hair mask. 

One thing that I won’t be buying from Sephora (no offense to them) is Olaplex. I’ve shared my love for Olaplex here and recently, a reader informed me that Costco has it for so much cheaper. If you’re a member, that’s the way to go!

Speaking of hair, I really want to try this Apple Cider Vinegar rinse that Grace shared.

I just started reading this after several recommendations.

Kat, who is one of my favorites, both online and off, shares what she buys at the grocery store. She’s super knowledgeable when it comes to food and nutrition, so I especially enjoyed this post from her.

I was about to type that “I’m really having a major thing with plaid blazers,” but honestly, that’s nothing new. I’ve had a thing for plaid blazers for years, but this time around, there are so many beautiful ones to choose from. I ended up with two new ones that I absolutely adore: this splurge-worthy one from Anine Bing and this belted one, which costs half the price, but looks $$$$.

Do you guys follow Olivia Jeanette? She’s the sweetest and also has a little boy, Sebastian. We recently had a playdate and naturally, Nate and Sebastian hit it off! If you work in a corporate world, she has so much valuable information and inspiration. I highly recommend her blog and Instagram.

West Elm is currently having their ‘Buy More, Save More’ sale. How stunning are these planters? 

Lady Gaga debuts Heidi Slimane’s first bag for Celine. Are you guys into it? I’m torn. While I appreciate it for the working girl, I’m not blown away.
