Weekend Notes

I’m currently sitting at our dining room  table while Sasha is upstairs taking a nap and Nate is in school. Balancing both Brooklyn Blonde and two children has been challenging at times, but trying to figure it out as we go and kind of go-with-the-flow. I know many of you have expressed a ton of interest in how the transition from 1-2 has been and I definitely plan to dive into a lengthier post soon!

This past week, I had our nanny come over so  Nate and I could go on a mommy & son date. We went to see Frozen 2 and I loved it so much! I mentioned it on Instagram, but I didn’t realize just how much I missed having our solo adventures. I probably needed one of those days as much, if not more, than him. She’s not fully watching Sasha just yet, but she does help me out abut two times a week so I could get stuff done.

How to remain professional at your home office.

The most incredible apartment for the book lover.

A healthy upgrade to cold-weather comfort food.

I ordered this Everlane sweater in a few colors after countless people recommend it. Actually, I ordered one first and liked it so much, I followed it up with two other colors. I ordered a small and medium and like how both fit, depending on the look I am going for.

In case you missed my posts from this week, my 20 for 2020 goals and easy tips for looking put together.

Also, I get a lot of questions if I have a post on designer shoe sizing. You could find a good list here, but thinking I should make a post that is strictly dedicated to this.

The sherpa outerwear onesie I dress Sasha in most days.

10 retailers with the best and worst return policies.

The marble tray that has really upgraded my bathroom.

And in effort to make some tweaks around our home, I ordered these marble bookends

Mary has a great post on setting career goals and where to start.

The 8 million reasons to love New York.

One of my most-loved toners in my skincare routine. The ingredients are clean and it’s a  great way to start a morning routine.

When you need to rid yourself of that toxic person in your life.

The Wolford bodysuit I love so much now comes in this stunning latte color.

An incredible kitchen transformation.

The perfect companion to my candles.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
