I have every intention of doing a more detailed “denim guide,” but in the meantime, I wanted to highlight the few pairs of jeans I’ve been wearing non stop.
To start, these are the Levi’s 501 Skinny (true to size) and I’m on my 2nd pair of them. Both of my favorite pairs happen to be cotton and while they come with their annoyances, I’ve found that the best blue washes come in the form of 100% denim – at least in most cases. If distressed denim is a bit too much for you, they also come in non distressed which I just ordered for a cleaner look.
Sweater: Mango | Denim: AGolde (TTS) | Flats: Sarah Flint | Sunglasses: LeSpecs
Next up are the AGolde Jaime (true to size) and they’re probably my most worn pair at the moment. They’re perfectly high waisted, not too long, not too short and work well with almost every single color.
Denim: AGolde Jamie | Cardigan: 525 (in a small)
For $50 off your first Sarah Flint order, use code SARAHFLINT-HELENA50.
Denim: H&M (size up if you don’t want them overly tight)
I waned to give an honorable mention to the Vintage Slim High Waisted from H&M. They’re in my top five, especially considering how right the price is and they come in a variety of washes. I’d recommend sizing up.
Hat: Janessa Leone | Button Down | Shorts: AGolde Parker | Slides: Hermes Oran (Similar)
Soon enough, I’m going to be transitioning to denim shorts and my personal favorites are also from AGolde: The Parker (worn above) and The Dee. If either have been on your radar, keep in mind that once the warm weather hits, they’re a bit harder to get and often sold out. I’d recommend snagging your size while they’re in stock. I just ordered this black wash because that’s one pair that is missing from my summer wardrobe and a newer (to me) style, the AGolde Reese which are a little longer.
If both of those are a bit too short for you, there’s also the Reese style that’s slightly longer.
