Two Looks: Dresses with Converse

Dress: Zimmermann (similarish) | Converse

More than ever, I’ve been loving the contrast of converse with longer dresses. It’s the mix of slightly dressy with casual that really does it for me.

The above dress is from Zimmermann and like 5-6 years old, but one I reach for till this day. I’ve included a few of my favorite dresses at the bottom of this post, but two that particularly stand out for me in the non-white category:

This stunning yellow number: reasonably priced at $115 and one I think would work well dressed up or down. I personally love yellow and red, so if I were dressing it up, I’d pair with a red lip and/or a red accessory.

And this one from Needle and Thread. A bit of a splurge, but like Zimmermann, Needle & Thread dresses are impeccably made and so beautiful if you have an upcoming occasion.

Dress: Faithfull the Brand in white  (wearing a small) | and a similar breezy style for $129 | Converse | Sunglasses

This dress is Faithfull the Brand was a bit of a splurge, but it’s one I plan to rotate all spring and summer. I’ve already worn it with heels, slides and now, sneakers.

In the all white category, there are so many great options out there. Two that particularly stand out:

This Madewell Cami dress feels like it would be ideal on vacation, a BBQ or to basically do anything on a hot day.

This MINKPINK smock dress is another one that seems easy and breezy.

I should also add, if converse are not your thing, I’m a broken record, but I love Axel Arigatos for a simple white sneaker that pair so well with everything from jeans to dresses.
