Hi! It’s been awhile since I’ve had a Weekend Notes post and perhaps even longer since a life update. October is almost behind us and overall, it’s been a great month. We celebrated my birthday (9/28 but had a party in October), Keith’s birthday (10/17), attended Tilden’s (my assistant) wedding and spent a nice amount of time at our lake house, which brings us so much happiness.
Country life has also inspired me to add some cozier, more comfortable additions to my wardrobe. As much as Keith despises these Birkenstocks, I kind of love them. I find they run true to size. Paired here with this Alo Yoga jacket (wearing a small) and my favorite leggings.
Credo is currently having 20% off which includes Westman Atelier and Goop. It ends today.
How to plan your week so you actually get stuff done.
Stoney Clover’s collaboration with American Girl is perfect.
If you’re in the market for any replenishments from Elemis (or haven’t tried anything), you’re able to use the code Helena20 until the end of the month. The Cleansing Balm is my #1 product (I love the naked but many love the rose), but I also love the Resurfacing Facial Pads, the Dynamic Facial Wash (I keep this one in my shower), and the Pro-Collagen Marine Oil.
Speaking of skincare, I’ve been using this new eye cream from Bobbi Brown and it’s possibly a new cold weather favorite. So rich and decadent for your nighttime routine.
I got this vase for our lake house and considering it was $20, I’m so happy with it (I also ordered this one). The Pampas were from an arrangement I got, but etsy sells a ton. The tray and black little table are from HomeGoods and these are the chairs. The mug is from Earl Home.
I love this cozy Cardigan from Madewell.
If you’re a fan of Le Labo Santal 33, this is the most luxurious detergent to wash your bedding in. It would also make for such a nice holiday gift.
I’m planning to make this Coconut Lime Chicken this week.
How to improve your finances, no matter how messy they are.
My review on the Chanel Trendy CC. I mentioned it on stories last week, but I am planning to do this for most of my handbags since it’s always a big request.
Wishing you a happy Sunday and a great week ahead!
