Cleanser Spotlight: Clé de Peau Beauté & My Night Routine

Over the last month, I’ve incorporated Clé de Peau cleansers into my cleansing rotation and I’ve been really happy with these additions. I’ve always known Clé de Peau to have beautiful makeup products, especially their world famous concealer, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by just how much I’ve been loving skincare products.

How I’ve incorporated Cle de Peau cleansers into my night routine and the rest of the products that follow:

I’ll start with using the Cleansing Cream Oil for my first cleanse. It melts away makeup and SPF beautifully and feels as luxe as you’d think. I gently massage the cleanser into my face, making sure I get my jaw and eyes if I’m wearing eye makeup. I follow that with a wet washcloth to wipe everything away.

Tip: while using the cleanser, take a moment to close your eyes and slowly massage it into your skin. I find it so therapeutic and a way for me to do something small for myself during this crazy time.

Next, I follow it up with a pea size amount of the Softening Cleansing Foam (mixed with a drop of water) and wash away. This cleanser is unlike any other foam cleanser that I’ve used in the past. The tiniest bit goes a very long way and it never leaves my skin feeling stripped. I often get asked if I do a double cleanse on the days that I’m not wearing makeup and the answer is usually yes. Not always, but usually. I wear SPF most days, especially since I’m often sitting by a window or going back and forth from inside to out. In that case, I like to do a double cleanse to make sure I remove the SPF, which tends to be on the thicker side.

For the rest of my routine, it depends on the night. Here, I followed with Biologique P50 “pressed” into my skin with a cotton pad and then Vintner’s Daughter serum on top. Other days I may follow with a retinol or two layers of moisture like a cream with an oil layered on top. It depends on the day and what I feel like my skin needs. To finish, for the last two months, I’ve been using Neubrow for brows and Neulash for lashes to help aid in the growth department. They’re both really helping!

With everything going on in the world, maintaining a solid skincare regimen has given me a bit of normalcy which we all need right now.

Let me know if you guys have any questions as far as products or this routine!
